Perhaps the most enduring investment in higher education, endowments create both an immediate and continuing impact. An endowment is a permanent fund that generates ongoing income to support a specific purpose. The principal gift that establishes an endowment is always preserved, with only the investment income distributed annually to support the fund’s purpose. Endowments can be named for you or in someone else’s honor or memory. The minimum endowment size is $25,000 and can be paid over five years. Funding priorities for The Wittliff include, but are not limited to, acquisition funds, endowed positions, research fellowships, internships, and funds for general unrestricted support.
